Scenic 18 holes adjacent to Oglebay Park, set in a lush wooded area. Course rating for men 69.2 and for women is 70.7. Slope rating for men 121 and for women 115. Golf season runs from April 1st to October 31st. Off-season is from November 1st to March 31st. Driving range is open April through October.
Fully stocked Golf Pro Shop is open during the season. Wheeling CC follows the USGA handicap system. All scores from all courses must be posted April 15th to September 30th.
Golf lessons are available by appointment with our PGA Golf Professional, Tomas Lindh. Club storage and cleaning is provided by our staff. Men’s and women’s locker rooms are available.
Golf carts are available on a first-come basis and cannot be reserved in advance. All carts are to be driven on paths where available and should be kept 50 feet from all greens. Pull carts are permitted on the course.
Men’s and ladies’ associations schedule various tournaments throughout the year for a small entry fee. Club events include Member Guest, Mixed Foursomes and Holiday Tournaments.
During golf season, men are required to wear a golf shirt with sleeves and either a collar or mock neck. No one is allowed to wear jeans on the course. A length of 16" is the minimum for shorts. Proper footwear must be worn, preferably soft spikes.
Members are permitted to bring guests but please notify the golf shop in advance. The guest may play without the member being present. Members are responsible for their guest in all aspects. Local guests may play once per month.
